Scaling

Scaling controls how a layer resizes when the viewport changes size. You’ll find it in the Scaling dropdown inside the Responsivity section. Use it to decide whether a layer should scale proportionally, fill available space, stretch to match the viewport, or keep one dimension locked.
How Scaling Works in PLAY
Scaling is applied when the design is viewed on different screen sizes). Depending on the option you choose, PLAY will either:
preserve the layer’s aspect ratio (so it doesn’t look squished), or
intentionally stretch the layer to keep its relative size consistent.
Scaling Options
Scale to Fit Scales the layer to fit within the available space while keeping its proportions.
Scale to Fill Scales the layer to fill the available space while keeping its proportions.
Stretch Stretches the layer as the screen size changes so it always keeps the same Width % and Height %. This means it may change proportions, but its relative W/H percentages remain consistent in preview/export.
Keep Width Locks the layer’s width so it does not change as the viewport changes. The layer maintains its aspect ratio, and the height adjusts proportionally to match.
Keep Height Locks the layer’s height so it does not change as the viewport changes. The layer maintains its aspect ratio, and the width adjusts proportionally to match.
How to Change a Layer’s Scaling
Select a layer.
Open the Responsivity section.
Open the Scaling dropdown.
Choose the scaling behavior you want:
Scale to Fit, Scale to Fill, Stretch, Keep Width, or Keep Height.
