Header Cells

Header cells define the structure and data type of each column in a catalogue. To set a header, click on an empty or existing header cell (this is the top row of the catalogue), and select the cell type from the dropdown. The cell type determines whether a column contains content (like text, images, or URLs) or conditions (like language, device, or time).

Each header cell includes:

  • Name: The label used to identify the column (e.g., headline, button_image, language).

  • Type: Specifies how the data is validated and used in linked projects. Common types include:

    • Text — for copy and translations

    • Image — for linked visual assets

    • URL — for external or in-app links

    • Condition — for contextual logic like Language, Device, or Time

Changing a header cell’s type updates how the Catalogue validates data and how that column can be mapped inside CRAFTSMAN PLAY.
